Uttar Pradesh Rural Institute of Medical Sciences & Research is a premier teaching and research institute located at Saifai village in the District of Etawah.
Uttar Pradesh Government has established this Institute with one basic premise to help and implement state of art medical facility to cover rural population stretching from Mathura to Auraiya and Furrukhabad to Bhind. This is the first of its kind setup in Rural India by any state Government to give one point solution to the health problems that is complete and comprehensive tertiary care to these millions of rural people. Nearest tertiary care hospital could be ours from their bus stop. This Institute will cover 21 areas of medicine and they will be 21 areas of excellence with higher end labs, complete critical care and imaging solutions. This institute is established in 2006 and will grow to the standards and fulfill the aspirations and dreams of the Government and people of Uttar Pradesh.
