Application Developer
Required Qualifications
You should possess a Bachelor of Science degree and/or a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Information Systems or Computer Science. Prior experience should include software development, in Windows* and/or UNIX* environments on multi-tier business applications. Additional qualifications include:
- Good communication skills (English) both written and verbal
- Excellent technical and problem solving skills as well as strong written and verbal communication skills
- A motivated self-starter
- Demonstrated ability to learn new technology and its application
- Development and debugging in C#, T-SQL
- Hands-on application development and prototyping skills, in conjunction with Human Factors Engineering
- Good understanding of the evolution of the service desk function, and the ability to match it to technological advancements in both the open source and commercial software application domains
- Ability to then translate these opportunities into process and tool requirements that can be used for developing prototypes, incorporation into product evaluation, or enhancing existing production applications and in driving the Service Desk Platform capability roadmap
- Experience with object oriented design of multi-tier applications
- Experience modeling processes and workflow
- Proficiency in programming database applications. Optional (Exposure to the following, would be an added advantage)
